From the same soil that grew Jim Morrison, Tony Hawk, NWA, Snoop, & Kendrick Lamar, grows another LA native, Propaganda. What do you say about Propaganda? He’s a poet, political activist, husband, father, academic, & emcee. With LA flowing through his veins & armed with a bold message, Propaganda has assembled a body of work that challenges his listeners with every verse & reaches across the spectrum of pop culture. From aggressive battle raps to smooth introspective rhythms, Propaganda’s music will cause you to nod your head, but more importantly it will stretch your mind & heart.

Hillsong Young & Free comes to us from the youth ministry of Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. The songs they write are timely for this generation; an overflow of their hearts and a reflection of the good news of a life in Jesus. Their latest album, Youth Revival, is about presenting this truth to the world and giving people an opportunity to respond. The songs invite the listener to journey our on-going salvation with themes of humanity being created with a purpose, the reality and wrestle of our fallen nature, the ultimate rescue to save our souls and both the process and finality of our redemption. You can purchase Youth Revival on iTunes and follow the band on Instagram @hillsongyoungandfree.

Laura Toggs and her husband Peter pastor the Senior High School Youth Ministry of Hillsong Church, and are involved in many aspects of church and music. With a mix of upbeat, electronic dance music and slower, beautiful ballads, all with the focus on Jesus alone, the group is topping the charts and breaking down barriers. Laura is honest and transparent, with a passion for seeing youth rise to their potential. She and her family live in Sydney, Australia and are looking forward to returning to The WKND this year.

These projects have provided clean, safe drinking water to over 6.4 million people. Scott was recently recognized in Fortune Magazine’s 40 under 40 list, the Forbes Magazine Impact 30 list and was recently #10 in Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business issue.
